Just a high school senior trying to make it to graduation day. I am a dancer, a writer, a Christian, a leader, a Twitter addict, and a best friend to many. I display each of these labels proudly (well, my need to "tweet" isn't necessarily my best quality...)
I started out last year taking a journalism class, not knowing what I was getting myself into...and ended up being appointed as a news editor as well as a copy editor. Here I am, the following year, the fearless leader/head editor of the LHS Tom-Tom, composing editorials like there's no tomorrow, and still splattering red ink across the articles of my peers :)
My Ideal School is a Place Where:
...there is no hesitation to communicate. Too often in schools, both faculty and students alike are afraid to bring up controversial topics or to open discussions that may lead to disagreement. My ideal school would not only accept, but welcome new ideas, opinions, and conversations.

Left-leaning Moderate
My Favorite Freedom:
The freedom to question what I'm told.
My Personal Heroes:
Those who go against the grain and achieve even the smallest of goals.
My Favorite Journey:
My senior year; while I'll admit to complaining about its length and tediousness from time to time, it is actually turning out to be quite a rewarding adventure.
Recommended Reading:
"A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey. I cannot recommend this book enough; by page 15 I had decided that it was one of the best works of art I had ever laid eyes on.
